The period during which I created this work was marked by my exploration of the relationship between art and craft. A complex issue, especially given contemporary art’s renewed focus on multicultural craftsmanship, which has helped bridge divides across different ethnicities and social classes. Art has become more accessible and diverse, and within this revival, contemporary ceramics have gained significant status.
